Tax Intern

The Opportunity

As a Tax Intern, you will take part in the world of tax consulting and gain exposure to the complexities of the global tax landscape. Within the Tax practice, you will help teams deliver tailored tax services that improve strategies, reduce risk, and support compliance.

As an Intern, your focus will be on learning PwC's methodologies, joining projects, and completing basic tasks that support the team. You will also have the chance to observe professional work environments and build your personal brand.

In this role, you will work with the General Tax Consulting services, offering advice and planning strategies to businesses. You will work through complex tax regulations, improve tax positions, and reduce risk as part of a supportive team. The role builds a foundation for a career in tax consulting.

Responsibilities

• Supporting tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies
• Helping prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents
• Assisting with analysis of complex tax regulations to improve tax positions and reduce risk
• Taking part in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance work
• Conducting tax research to support consulting projects and suggest solutions
• Working with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients
• Contributing to tax provisions and audits that validate compliance
• Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals
• Applying data analytics to find tax optimization and efficiency opportunities
• Supporting regulatory compliance consulting strategies for a range of industries
