The Job

This position requires in-person work Monday through Friday in McMinnville, Oregon. Relocation expenses are not offered.

Marsh Agency is looking for an intellectual and motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who wants a future career in risk management.

As an intern, you will work directly with a variety of teams and gain exposure to several functional departments. You will learn about client service, risk management, operations, sales, business analytics and more. Interns work on projects designed to give hands-on experience in developing solutions for real business problems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Gain real experience: You will build real-world resume experience and come away with a clearer view of career options.
• Partner with teams on creative projects that help develop and strengthen the Marsh Agency brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the department you are working in.
• Support directors, sales executives and client relations staff with meaningful, specific work that helps grow new business and retention.
• Contribute as a team member: maintain positive relationships with colleagues and grow your network with your manager, mentor and other interns.
• Learn through classes covering the industry and the organization, both national and regional, designed to prepare you as an emerging professional.
• Build industry relationships by meeting a wide range of industry partners.
• Follow policies: adhere to organization policies, procedures, sales and service standards and established workflows. Support quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance, and keep information confidential.
