The Job

Marsh Agency is looking for an intellectual and motivated student to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who wants to build a future career in risk management.

As an intern, you will work directly with a variety of teams and gain exposure across several functional departments, learning about client service, risk management, operations, sales, business analytics, and more. Interns work on projects designed to give hands-on experience in developing solutions for real business problems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Real experience: You will build real world resume experience. By the end of the internship, you will have a clearer view of career options and relevant work experience.
• Partner with teams on creative, diverse projects that help develop and strengthen the Marsh Agency brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the department you are working in.
• Provide targeted support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to help grow new business and retention.
• Play an active role on the team by building positive relationships with colleagues. You will grow your network by working closely with your manager, mentor, and other interns.
• Learning opportunities: You will attend national and regional classes that introduce you to the industry and the organization, preparing you as an emerging professional.
• Build industry relationships by meeting a wide range of industry partners.
• Paid internship: Interns are paid for their work.
• Other duties: Follow organization policies, procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows. Support quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance, and maintain confidentiality.
