Agency Summer Internship 2027

The Job

This position requires in-person work Monday through Friday in Spokane, Washington. Relocation expenses are not offered.

Marsh Agency is looking for an intellectual and motivated student to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who wants to build a future career in risk management.

Interns spend time directly with a variety of teams and rotate through several functional departments to learn about client service, risk management, operations, sales, business analytics and more. Interns work on projects designed to give hands-on experience solving real-world business problems.

Marsh Agency provides mentorship, training, resources and development to support your success, but you will need to bring the ambition. Our colleagues strive for excellence and work to do what is best for their clients and each other.

What You Will Be Doing

• Gain real experience: You will build real-world resume experience and come away with a clearer view of career options and relevant work experience.
• Partner with teams on creative, diverse projects that help develop and strengthen the Marsh Agency brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the department you are working in.
• Provide targeted support to directors, sales executives and client relations staff to help grow new business and retention.
• Contribute on the team by building positive relationships with colleagues, your manager, your mentor and fellow interns.
• Learning opportunities: Attend national and regional classes that introduce you to the industry and the organization.
• Build industry relationships by meeting a wide range of industry partners to grow your professional network.
• Follow policies: Follow organization policies, procedures, sales and service standards and established workflows, maintain quality through accurate file documentation, and keep client information confidential.
