Cyber Risk Intern (Boise)

The Job

This position requires in-person work Monday through Friday in Boise, Idaho. Relocation expenses are not offered.

Marsh McLennan is looking for an intellectual and motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who wants a future career in cyber consulting and risk management.

Interns work directly with a variety of teams and gain exposure across functional departments, including client service, risk management, operations, sales, and business analytics. Interns take on projects that offer hands-on experience in developing solutions for real business problems.

Mentorship, training, resources, and development are provided to support your success, but you will need to bring the ambition. Colleagues aim high and are driven to do what is best for their clients and each other.

What You Will Be Doing

• Real experience: You will build real-world resume experience and leave with a clearer view of career options and relevant work experience.
• Partner with teams on creative, diverse projects that help advance the brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the department you join.
• Provide targeted support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to strengthen new business and retention.
• Contribute actively by building positive relationships with colleagues, your manager, your mentor, and other interns.
• Learning opportunities through national and regional classes that introduce you to the industry and the organization.
• Build industry relationships by meeting a wide range of industry partners.
• Paid internship: The hourly wage for this position is $18.85 per hour.
• Follow organization policies, sales and service standards, and established workflows, maintain quality control through proper file documentation, and protect confidentiality.
