The Job

This position requires in-person work Monday through Friday in Spokane, Washington. Relocation expenses are not offered.

Marsh Agency is looking for an intellectual and motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who wants to build a future career in risk management.

Interns work directly with a variety of teams and rotate through functional departments to learn about client service, risk management, operations, sales, business analytics, and more. Projects are designed to give hands-on experience in developing solutions to real business problems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Real experience: You will gain real-world resume building experience and a clearer understanding of career options.
• Partner with teams on creative projects that help develop and strengthen the Marsh Agency brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of your department.
• Support directors, sales executives, and client relations staff with meaningful, specific work that enhances new business and retention.
• Be an active team member by building positive relationships with colleagues, your manager, your mentor, and other interns.
• Learning opportunities through national and regional classes that introduce you to the industry and the organization.
• Industry relationships built by meeting a wide range of industry partners.
• Paid internship: The hourly wage for this position is $18.85 per hour.
• Follow organization policies, sales and service standards, and established workflows, maintain quality control through proper file documentation, and protect confidentiality.
