Agency Boise: 2027 Summer Intern ($18.85/hr)

The Job

This position requires in-person work Monday through Friday in Boise, Idaho. Relocation expenses are not offered.

Marsh Agency is looking for an intellectual, motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who wants a future career in risk management.

As an intern, you will work directly with a variety of teams and gain exposure to several functional departments, including client service, risk management, operations, sales, business analytics, and more. Interns work on projects designed to give hands-on experience in developing solutions for real business problems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Real experience: You will build real resume experience and leave with a clearer view of career options and relevant work experience.
• Partner with teams on creative, diverse projects that help develop and strengthen the Marsh Agency brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the mission and vision of the department you work in.
• Provide targeted support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to grow new business and retention.
• Take an active role on the team by building positive relationships with colleagues, your manager, your mentor, and other interns.
• Learning opportunities through national and regional classes that introduce you to the industry and the organization.
• Industry relationships through meetings with a wide range of industry partners, expanding your professional network.
• Paid internship that compensates you for your work.
• Follow organization policies, procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows. Support quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance, and keep information confidential.
