Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern to support the digital backbone of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Composite Fabrication and Advanced Development Program facility. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will build modern, scalable web applications using Microsoft SQL Server, .NET Core, Node.js, React or Angular, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud services, turning complex production data into intuitive interfaces that streamline workflows.

This role includes hands-on collaboration with Production Operations. You will spend time shadowing on the shop floor and in business meetings, listening for pain points so you can rapidly prototype solutions. What You Will Be Doing

1. Develop, test, deploy and support full-stack applications that enable production operations use cases.
2. Design data pipelines and database solutions to integrate manufacturing systems and automate workflow processes.
3. Build full-stack web applications to streamline data collection and management across production systems.
4. Create real-time dashboards and data visualizations that help leadership and floor supervisors make informed decisions.

You will work directly with technical and non-technical users to understand their needs, then iterate quickly to build applications they will want to use. You must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access, and eligibility for a U.S. security clearance and a clean background check under Defense Contractor requirements is required.
