This role supports assignments in technical and engineering organizations such as Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering during breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a 2027 Summer Systems Engineer Intern. You will support the F-35 Mission Planning Environment team with the design and development of ground based mission planning systems. The ideal candidate has experience or knowledge of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware integration and systems engineering principles. Applicants must be US citizens, and the position requires a government security clearance. It is located at a facility that requires special access.

Benefits and Pay Details

The full-time salary range is $24.37 to $28.15 per hour. Actual pay depends on factors such as scope of the role, work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.

Washington state applicants: non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of PTO and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, vacation, sick leave and holiday hours are prorated based on start date.
