Software Engineer Intern

We are looking for candidates who can quickly learn new tools and technologies, apply analytical problem solving across areas such as model based engineering, systems design, verification, integration, or infrastructure, and contribute well in a collaborative setting.

As part of an Agile Development Team, you will take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support continuous delivery of high-quality solutions.

Your work will help maintain secure and uninterrupted communication capabilities for critical military systems.

This role supports assignments in technical and engineering organizations (for example Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with systems modeling languages and tools (e.g., CAMEO) and basic model based design concepts.
• Understanding of enterprise integration concepts (APIs, middleware, cloud services) or infrastructure basics (Linux/Windows OS, networking, virtualization).
• Experience (coursework or projects) with software testing and verification techniques, such as unit testing, test bench development, or automated regression testing.
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
