Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Summer 2027 Software Engineer (Development) Intern. In this role, you will develop software on an Agile Development Team. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of C++, Java, C#, DevOps, Kubernetes, and Angular. You must be a US Citizen, and this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Systems Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
• Agile Software Development
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require obtaining a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain a DOD-Secret Clearance is required for this role.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in Software Automated Test
• Proficiency in one of the following: C#, Java, Angular, C++, scripting
• Strong problem solver
• Aptitude for programming and debugging with the latest tools in an Object-Oriented environment
• Works both independently and in team settings

Pay and Benefits

The full-time salary range for this position is $22.66 to $31.67 per hour. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer. The salary listed is a general guideline only.

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year based on performance metrics.
• Washington state applicants only (non-represented full-time employees): accrue at least 10 hours per month of PTO for incidental absences and other reasons, and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
