Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software engineer. You will design, develop, integrate and test new applications, and work with product teams to deliver mission processing apps to operational software baselines. Your work will have a direct impact on real-world operations and national security.

The successful candidate will have experience or knowledge of real-time development environments and languages (C, C++), embedded software and hardware, and Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

You will plan, conduct and coordinate software development activities. You will design, develop, document, test and debug software that provides logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission problems. You will apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools across the development life cycle.

You will apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, the subject matter being programmed, and information processing techniques. You will gather input from system users, correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile program documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls. You will also make sure software standards are met.
