Data Science Intern

Join the Leidos engineering team in building software that supports data analytics, computer vision, and AI capabilities for national security customers. As a Data Science Intern on our Arlington, VA team supporting a national security customer, you will work with system and software engineers and research and data scientists. Together you will help evolve a production platform that combines microservices, data search and analytics, AI, and machine learning services. Through mentorship, collaboration, and challenging technical work, you will build your career and make a real-world impact.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in AI, machine learning, and software engineering.
• Gain hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and prototype development.
• Build skills in data analytics, anomaly detection, and visualization tools.
• Perform ETL tasks to keep data consistent, high quality, and secure.
• Develop autonomous agents as part of a suite of tools that coordinate information discovery across different data sources.
