What does our Internship Program offer?

Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that offers meaningful work, feedback and coaching, and engaging events that can spark interest in building a full-time career at Key.

Interns take part in line of business projects that directly support Key's business and strategic priorities. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs with internal and external speakers covering Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge and advice.

About the Equipment Finance Capital Markets Buy-Sell Internship

Key Equipment Finance is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented college student with an interest in finance who wants to learn and get hands-on exposure to the equipment finance industry. The role works alongside the Capital Markets team, supporting the buy and sell desks and building knowledge of syndication, investor relations, and investment strategy.

You will work closely with syndicators and deal teams to help with transaction execution, analyze financial data and market trends, manage investor data platforms, and keep communication flowing between internal and external stakeholders. You will also help prepare deal materials, track investor engagement, and support strategic initiatives. The position is highly collaborative and exposes you to several departments across the bank, including credit, risk, legal, and operations.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree with coursework in finance, business, economics, or a related field, with anticipated graduation in or before May 2028
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to completion
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office platforms (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VBA)
• Advanced PowerPoint
