Program Duration: May 26, 2027 to August 6, 2027

The Key Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that offers meaningful work, feedback and coaching, and engaging events that build interest in a full-time career at Key.

Interns work on line of business projects that affect Key's business and strategic priorities. The program includes networking with Key teammates at all levels, a series of Learning Labs with internal and external speakers on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness and professional development, and an assigned mentor.

Real Estate Capital

KeyBank Real Estate Capital (KBREC) is one of the nation's leading providers of commercial, healthcare and multifamily real estate finance. KBREC builds long-term client relationships through creative financing, a sense of urgency and a focus on client objectives.

Institutional Capital Group (ICG)

ICG is affiliated with the broader KBREC platform and focuses on the capital and banking needs of public and private REITs, real estate operating companies, real estate fund sponsors and real estate private equity firms. ICG helps these institutions obtain debt and equity financing through corporate credit facilities, syndicated finance, acquisition and bridge loans, permanent debt, public and private bonds, and public and private equity.

The summer program is a direct pipeline to full-time Analyst positions, so interns may return after graduation to start a real estate career.

Work Assignments

• Researching economic conditions and market trends
• Developing strategic contact databases
• Neighborhood, industry and prospective tenant research
• Field research and preparing marketing materials
• Completing a Capstone Project based on what was learned during the internship
• Other duties as needed to support the Real Estate Capital team

Compensation and Benefits

This position pays an hourly rate of $27 and includes a $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus. Benefits details are available on the Key careers site.
