Purpose

The Integrated Data Analytics and Reporting (IDAR) organization is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join the Enabling Analytics & System Excellence (EASE) function. EASE supports clinical development through data, systems, analytics, and process excellence.

The intern will apply analytical thinking, computer systems concepts, and emerging technologies to support clinical trial processes and operational decisions. The role includes work on data analysis, systems, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with exposure to pharmaceutical research and development.

Responsibilities

• Support data, analytics, systems, and process initiatives within the EASE organization.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to clinical trial processes and operational activities.
• Help evaluate and apply AI-powered tools and frameworks to clinical development use cases.
• Contribute to initiatives that use AI to support automation, data analysis, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
• Support efforts to improve data quality and generate actionable insights across clinical trial planning and execution.
• Work with team members to understand business and system needs and contribute to technology-enabled solutions.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, analytical approaches, and digital tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on assigned projects and initiatives.
• Document project activities, findings, and recommendations, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide additional project support as needed.

The internship runs from May to August 2027 and requires full-time hours (40 per week). Two positions are currently open.
