Job Description

We are looking for the right talent for this Aviation Maintenance Technician Summer Intern role in Trenton, NJ. The Intern term runs from May to August 2027. The position requires on-site availability, including nights and weekends, and full-time availability of 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed. Two Aviation Department internship positions are available for the summer program at West Trenton Mercer County Airport (KTTN).

Purpose

J&J flight engineers perform all levels of aircraft maintenance and servicing, including line service, scheduled inspections, and AOG troubleshooting. Maintenance technicians travel globally with the aircraft for support and may serve as cabin safety attendants.

The Internship Program gives college students practical business aviation experience. Interns build leadership skills, apply classroom concepts, and get a firsthand look at the real world before committing to a career.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
• Line work, including towing, fueling, and marshalling.
• Troubleshooting aircraft systems.
• Possibly flying with the aircraft as a flight engineer on domestic or international trips.
