This is a six-month Co-Op, typically running January to June 2027 (flexible). It is a full-time role (40 hours per week) and fully on-site in Malvern, PA. One vacancy is available.

Purpose

The Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) organization within Therapeutics Development and Supply supports the global supply of clinical materials for the Research & Development and Global Medical Affairs portfolios. Its work covers clinical supply manufacturing, demand forecasting, supply planning, and global distribution.

The Malvern Clinical Supply Chain Planning team is looking for a motivated Co-Op to support planning operations, with a focus on improving data accuracy, strengthening planning processes, and building sustainable data validation practices in SAP.

The role offers hands-on exposure to supply chain planning within R&D drug development and builds analytical, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Clinical Supply Chain Planning activities and gain exposure to supply chain processes across the R&D drug development lifecycle.
  • Lead planning data clean-up and help improve the accuracy and consistency of planning information.
  • Assess current-state SAP planning data and identify ways to improve data quality.
  • Support the development and rollout of routine SAP data validation processes.
  • Partner with colleagues across Clinical Supply Chain Planning and other cross-functional teams to solve real-world supply chain challenges.
  • Apply analytical and creative problem-solving to find process improvement opportunities.
  • Support planning improvements that boost efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.
  • Manage assigned project activities while working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver a final Co-Op presentation covering project outcomes and learnings.
  • Provide additional project and planning support as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related business, engineering, scientific, or supply chain disciplines.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, reflecting all college coursework.
  • No Summer Internship or other employment commitment that could conflict with the contract dates.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated process improvement mindset and interest in improving efficiency and data quality.
  • Ability to work with data, spot inconsistencies, and support data validation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and project activities while delivering results.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter while collaborating within a cross-functional team.

Applicants must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for an employment visa (such as H-1B or green card) now or in the future. Students on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT generally need future sponsorship for long-term employment and do not meet this program's requirements unless they hold an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience or familiarity with supply chain planning or related processes.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP.
  • Experience with planning systems and performing data review, validation, or clean-up.
  • Interest in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical supply chain, demand forecasting, supply planning, or clinical supply operations.
  • Experience or interest in process improvement and building standardized, repeatable processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to summarize and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic projects, student organizations, campus programs, or community involvement.
