As an entry level Hardware Test Engineer at IBM, you will work on the systems shaping the future of computing. IBM is hiring entry level Hardware Test Engineers for the Z Engineering System Test organization. The role tests and supports hardware and firmware that make up IBM's industry-leading products. The team pioneers innovations in cutting-edge microprocessors and hardware used in IBM Z Systems.

Test Engineers take part in the test and support process, including:

• Assisting in testing mainframe hardware components such as processors, memory modules, and I/O systems
• Working with firmware and systems engineering teams to ensure smooth hardware-software integration
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues through testing, debugging, and failure analysis
• Supporting lab testing, including hardware bring-up, functional verification, and environmental testing
• Contributing to technical documentation for procedures and test results

Helpful experience includes:

• Python coding and scripting
