Dell Technologies Services (DT Services) is an organization within Dell that provides support and extended warranty services, managed deployment, enterprise installation, and configuration services for Enterprise and Client customers. What you will achieve

The business analytics intern will work on a problem that requires detailed analysis to resolve. The intern will carry out analytics and recommend how to solve the problem. The project may also include building KPIs and dashboards.

You will:

• Create analysis that uncovers hidden opportunities to improve operations, sales growth and dispatch effectiveness
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to predict outcomes
• Communicate findings, insights and recommendations clearly to business leaders
• Work with internal and external sources to gather and examine data from disparate sources to uncover previously hidden insights
• Drive tasks to completion independently, understand the data and end goals, and deliver insights beyond customer expectations

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics
• Strong data mining skills
• Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Power BI
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle ambiguity
• Knowledge or experience with Statistica, SAS, R, SPSS, Hadoop, Teradata, Python, Tableau, Business Objects, or C++

• Collaborate with peers and work independently
• Ability to adapt

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable pay. The pay range for this position is $52.28 to $56.25 per hour, depending on location and graduate level.
