Systems Engineering Co-op

We are looking for a motivated and innovative Systems Engineering Co-op to join our Systems Excellence Department at our St. Petersburg, FL location. As a co-op, you will contribute to every phase of the product development lifecycle, including systems and software requirements, system architecture and design, software integration and test, simulation and test, verification, and sell-off.

Systems engineering depends on collaboration: with other systems and software engineers on your team, with other engineering disciplines throughout design and development, and with program leadership and customers. We want people who enjoy solving problems and who want to grow and gain exposure to new skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Work closely with a dedicated team that defines the requirements, design and architecture of subsystems in the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) product line, part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS).
• Take part in the systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition and allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
• Collaborate across many engineering disciplines to meet program milestones.

What You Will Learn

• Gain technical experience and mentorship from established engineers within the Systems Excellence Department.
• Work with CEC subject matter experts while supporting our customers and cross-functional integrated product teams.
• Build knowledge of algorithm development, system level design and system level models using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), with exposure to a wide range of products in an evolving field.
