This internship is for an electrical engineering student with a strong academic background and interest in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs).

What You Will Do

• Design RF microwave components and phased array applications
• Integrate and test component-level and system-level phased array hardware
• Use electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, and analytical tools such as Matlab

• Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.

This is a U.S.-based role. Candidates may be asked to attend select interview steps in person at an RTX office. U.S. citizenship is required, and an active, transferable U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret, interim clearance acceptable) is required before the start date.
