The Summer Internship program is open to Fall and Spring graduates who want to work in an innovative, mission-driven culture. The paid program includes hands-on mentorship, the chance to contribute to the company through an internship project, and a possible job offer at the end. Interns also take part in company-sponsored events and get to explore a new city.

Shield AI offers competitive pay and a housing stipend for qualified hires. The People Experience team provides resources and assistance, but interns are responsible for finding their own housing and travel to and from their office location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems
• A proven background thriving in fast-paced environments, particularly startup or R&D settings. School projects count as applicable experience.
• Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful outcomes.
• Classroom or project experience developing code (Verilog, VHDL) for FPGAs
