Woburn MA Internship: Systems Security Engineer

What You Will Do

Systems Security Engineering builds holistic security solutions that combine Cyber Security, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on Sensors, Ground Radars and Platform systems. You will take on technically challenging assignments that directly help protect our nation and our Warfighters. This is an onsite position at Raytheon.

You will support and collaborate within a team, receiving input from program or team experts while determining and developing approaches and solutions on projects. You will also work across many engineering disciplines to execute program milestones.

What You Will Learn

You will gain technical experience, mentorship and exposure to established cybersecurity engineers within Mission Systems, which will help advance your career.

You will become familiar with a range of cybersecurity tools and policies in the constantly evolving cybersecurity engineering and program protection field.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship or co-op session.
• A minimum of 60 hours of college credit by the start of the internship session.
• Experience may come from on-the-job work, research, coursework or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Specific majors: Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related STEM discipline
• Quick learner and motivated
• Experience with tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis and automation
• Prior RTX internship, co-op or work experience
• Current or active DoD security clearance or SSBI

This role is a U.S.-based role.
