What You Will Do

The Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group has an opening for an Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Engineering Intern. The intern will support the overhaul and repair process for Fan and High Compressor hardware across Pratt & Whitney's family of military engines at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City. The main focus of this role is Composite Materials. The position is key to the global sustainment effort because it creates a direct engineering link with domestic and foreign military customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as the onsite engineering representative for Pratt & Whitney, supporting engine and hardware investigations and dispositions.
• Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, the Component Improvement Program (CIP) and repair task activities.
• Assist Customer Support Engineering (CSE) and base personnel with field support, quality issues and logistics planning.
• Take part in a customer-facing role.
