About the Role

This internship is with the RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization, supporting cross-functional teams across multiple business units in areas of Corporate Operations and Supply Chain.

The RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization handles product and non-product sourcing, supply chain risk management, performance, analytics, tools, and strategic initiatives. This role operates in a matrixed organization, supporting processes across the Corporate Supply Chain. Responsibilities include supply chain commodity support such as operational and spend analysis, development and execution of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management, and business process management.

What You Will Do

  • Support supply chain commodity functions including operational and spend analysis.
  • Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and performance management.
  • Contribute to business process management initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Operations, or a closely related field, and actively enrolled through the duration of the internship.
  • Minimum of 60 credits completed prior to starting the internship. Submit a copy of your transcripts with your application.
  • Experience with SharePoint, including creating sites, maintaining sites, and controlling permissions.
  • Data analytics skills with advanced knowledge and capability in Excel.
  • Ability to create Power BI dashboards.
  • Experience building apps with Microsoft Power Platform.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA.
  • Proven experience managing projects, with the ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and deliver measurable results independently.
  • Documented success working collaboratively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures, demonstrating adaptability to various work and conflict resolution styles.
  • Foundational knowledge of supply chain principles.

This role is classified as Remote: employees working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
