What You Will Do

As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace/RTX, you will:

• Assist with the design, development and testing of engineering projects.
• Learn and apply engineering tools such as Siemens Xpedition Designer and MATLAB.
• Support the engineering team with administrative tasks and project coordination.
• Apply academic knowledge to practical, real-world engineering work.
• Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and complete assigned tasks.
• Observe and take part in the responsibilities of a professional engineer.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Interest in learning what a professional engineer does.
• Experience or coursework with tools such as Siemens Xpedition Designer, MATLAB and VHDL.
• Ability to assist engineering staff with project tasks and administrative duties.
• Ability to apply academic knowledge to hands-on engineering work.

Security Clearance

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required. Only U.S. citizens are eligible. The clearance type is DoD Secret, and an active clearance is required after day one.
