Overview

Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system. Today, Astranis satellites provide dedicated, secure networks to sophisticated customers worldwide, including large enterprises, sovereign governments, and the US military. With five satellites on orbit and many more set to launch soon, the company is servicing a backlog of over $1 billion in commercial contracts. Astranis is the preferred satellite communications partner for buyers with stringent requirements for uptime, data security, network visibility, and customization.

Astranis has raised over $1.2 billion from top investors and employs a team of 500 engineers and entrepreneurs. The company designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California.

Four billion people lack internet access. Astranis is building the next generation of smaller, lower-cost telecommunications satellites to bring the world online. To achieve this, we are reinventing microwave radio systems in space using SDRs. Work with incredibly smart people who have flown things in space before. We are a well-funded team that moves fast. No prior space experience is needed; you just need to enjoy getting your hands dirty with real hardware and be comfortable with tackling seemingly impossible challenges.

Our mission and products are meant to connect the whole world, regardless of race, creed, or any other distinction. We believe in a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage all people to join our team.
