Job Description

Parsons values different perspectives and welcomes people who share their skills and ideas while respecting the views of others. Each intern is paired with a mentor from the same discipline. Interns also take part in the Parsons Early Talent Program, where they work alongside interns from other disciplines and senior management.

Working under a degreed and licensed instrumentation and control systems (I&C) engineer, each intern supports engineering assignments that call for foundational knowledge of control systems, field instrumentation, design and drafting standards, construction practices, and techniques.

Activities are designed to show the full engineering design lifecycle and the role I&C engineers play at Parsons.

Interns will review engineering notes, specifications, materials of construction, and rough sketches, then turn them into working drawings. Assignments build practical knowledge of electromechanical equipment, facilities, and systems, and how they interact with I&C and other disciplines such as telecommunications, architecture, mechanical, civil, and fire protection.
