Parsons is accepting applications for its Summer 2027 Roadway Engineering Internship in Boston. You will build your engineering skills with direct mentorship and work alongside a team of infrastructure design experts. As a top firm in civil engineering, you will gain experience on major area and regional projects. Intern classes fill up fast, so apply early.

What You Will Be Doing

• Identify creative and efficient methods and solutions for complex road or highway engineering problems, choosing the most economical approach to meet project objectives.
• Make sure designs follow approved Federal, State and local agency requirements and accepted industry practices.
• Prepare specifications, estimates, quantity calculations, technical reports and detailed engineering analyses.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets and other construction documents.
• May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or act as a design engineer on intermediate to large scale projects.

This position is part of the Critical Infrastructure team.
