About the Role

The Web Infrastructure team owns the foundation of Notion's web-based clients and helps engineers build performant, scalable, and accessible product experiences on top of it.

In this role, you could:

• Build and optimize common web patterns that front-end engineers use to create features
• Build tooling that lets engineers test, debug, and profile front-end features
• Build scalable desktop infrastructure with deep OS integrations

This internship runs from May 24 to August 13, or from June 14 to September 3, depending on your summer schedule. You will need to work out of the NY office during this time.

Nice to Haves

• Expertise with technologies in Notion's stack, including TypeScript and React
• Familiarity with computing pioneers such as Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, and Alan Kay
• Interests outside of technology, such as art, history, or social sciences

Notion offers highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. Pay depends on factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience, and may differ from the range below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated hourly range is $57/hr for Bachelor's candidates and $61/hr for Master's candidates.

Deep AI expertise is not required for every role, but every Notino should be intellectually curious, enjoy tinkering and discovery, and be ready to use AI as a real collaborator. People who do well here use AI to think better and to make their work easier for others to build on.
