Northrop Grumman is seeking undergraduate or graduate students in a STEM field for this internship. The position is based in Dulles, VA or Baltimore, MD and supports the Space Systems Sector.

In this role, you will contribute to mission and space vehicle engineering activities. Depending on the assignment, you may help develop requirements, design, integrate, develop or test space payloads, spacecraft buses, satellites, human-rated spacecraft or satellite servicing vehicles. Work may include flowing customer requirements down to hardware and software designers, developing system architectures, implementing advanced signal and data processing algorithms, and integrating and testing hardware and software products.

Interns with a bachelor's or master's degree and a STEM background will be considered. Preferred qualifications include previous internship or co-op experience, leadership and teamwork skills, interpersonal communication skills, and professional, community or extracurricular activities.

Pay rates are standardized based on expected graduation date, local labor costs and whether the role is technical or administrative. Interns may be eligible for relocation assistance. The role does not require a security clearance at start and does not involve travel.
