Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer Intern for its Mission Systems Sector in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The intern will join Xetron, an operating unit of Northrop Grumman Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Xetron develops new capabilities for military and intelligence customers around the globe, working on cutting-edge technologies and high-impact products alongside world-class teammates.

Roles and Responsibilities

This position involves developing solutions to national security threats with products that may involve kernel development, reverse engineering or vulnerability research of network and communication systems. The role requires basic software development skills, including familiarity with scripting languages. Knowledge of computer networking, modern software development environments, embedded programming and software configuration management tools is a plus.

Intern pay is standardized based on anticipated graduation date, the cost of labor in the geographic location and whether the internship is technical or administrative. Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential and a discretionary bonus, along with benefits such as health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
