The Opportunity

As a Digital Assurance Intern, you will work in a dynamic environment, supporting teams and participating in projects while gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks, conduct research, and observe professional work environments, contributing to the team's success. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent assessments, upholding transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing clients to focus on driving their business forward.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting
• Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to assess compliance with regulatory requirements
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into digital assurance practices
• Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions to enhance audit processes
• Engaging in active listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional growth
• Contributing to the assessment of data quality and validation to validate accurate reporting
• Collaborating with teams to apply artificial intelligence platforms in auditing tasks
• Conducting research and gathering information to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
