Transfer Pricing Intern

The Opportunity

As a Transfer Pricing - Japanese Business Network - Intern, you will work with our Tax Services team to address the complexities of the global tax landscape. You will help optimize tax strategies, minimize risks, and identify opportunities to drive compliance and enhance profitability. As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing reliably to the team's success.

In this role within our Tax practice, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team's success. During your time at the firm, you will start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities. Responsibilities

• Supporting teams in navigating the complexities of global tax landscapes
• Participating in projects focused on optimizing tax strategies and minimizing risks
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of consolidated tax returns for multinational companies
• Engaging in research and analysis of transfer pricing regulations to drive compliance
• Contributing to the development of intercompany pricing strategies aligned with value creation
• Observing and learning from experienced professionals in the field of international taxation
• Collaborating with the Japanese Business Network to foster cultural understanding and market insight
• Applying a learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
• Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns
• Taking ownership of personal development by actively seeking feedback and asking questions

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Economics, Finance
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Japanese and English
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
