Dry Etch Equipment Intern in Boise, ID

Overview

As an intern in the Dry Etch Equipment Development Engineering group at Micron, you will gain hands-on experience developing, designing, and optimizing plasma etch equipment for Micron's memory products. You will work on demanding technical problems to advance equipment that supports the Micron product roadmap.

This role calls for strong curiosity about engineering problem solving and innovation, plus the ability to work both independently and within a team. The position offers an immersive experience in semiconductor dry etch hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Take personal ownership of safety, quality, and compliance while working in labs, fabs, and equipment development environments.
• Present and clearly explain your work.
• Run experiments to understand the technical limits of current equipment capability.
• Develop in-process hardware and analytical techniques.
• Maintain high standards of integrity in data collection, analysis, documentation, and communication of technical results.
• Solve complex engineering problems related to plasma etch hardware.
• Collaborate respectfully with cross-functional teams, valuing diverse perspectives to solve equipment and process challenges.
