The Lockheed Martin Rotary and Systems Mission team in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. Interns will work in technical and engineering organizations such as Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering during vacations and short breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

You will design, integrate and test systems, and conduct data analysis to assess the performance of Command, Control and Communications (C3) systems. These systems perform critical functions including radar and sensor management, track filtering, track management (including correlation and association), control of multiple communication links, threat evaluation and prioritization, and command of weapon systems for target engagement or assignment.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering principles, algorithm development, and data analysis for troubleshooting and evaluation.

Candidates must be US citizens. This position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.

Pay Information

Full-time salary range: $22.66 - $31.67 per hour. The salary listed is a general guideline. Lockheed Martin considers scope and responsibilities, work experience, education and training, key skills, market (work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive programs may be offered depending on the position.
