Migration Execution Intern

Leidos, a leading defense, intelligence, and technology company, is looking for motivated technology students for its Summer 2027 Internship Program (starting May 2027). As a Migration Execution Intern, you will join the Digital Sector and support the Migration Execution team on the Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract. This is a 100% remote role with a primary focus on U.S. Eastern time zones.

You will gain hands-on experience with network and endpoint migration best practices across DODNet discovery, planning and design, and migration execution. The work supports engineering challenges within a $600M+ global defense organization.

If you are interested in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Project Management, you will support the team through several network and endpoint migration projects. You will rotate through migration execution duties to understand the full scope of work from start to finish.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the project manager on DAFA migration efforts across multiple task orders.
• Assist with travel support and invoice review across task orders.
• Assist with network Point of Contact (POC) coordination.
• Provide Bill of Materials (BOM) support across migration efforts.
• Help Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams prepare and upload Contract Deliverables (CDRLs).
• Organize and support the Migration Queue and triage issues for SME teams.
• Assist with coordination and communication for migration testing activities.
• Rotate through migration support duties to understand the phases of discovery, planning and design, and migration execution.
