Role Overview

As a Qualcomm IT Infrastructure & Cloud Intern, you'll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what exists and help establish the new standards for tomorrow. You will leverage your degree to make an immediate impact on one of Qualcomm's numerous technologies.

This internship supports the IT Infrastructure & Cloud track. Based on your resume, you will be aligned to projects within this track.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2027 and June 2028
• Practical experience developing software or meeting operational needs with code and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Java)
• Experience with automation tools development, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), source control management, software integration, scripting, and working in a DevOps environment (e.g., Ansible)
• Experience in IT infrastructure, networking, infrastructure automation, end-user services, collaboration, and communication tools
• Knowledge of servers (physical, virtual), cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP), and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Python web development experience

To round out your summer internship, we host professional development workshops, social events, cross-functional speaker sessions, and an executive speaker series. Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $17.00 - $98.00 per hour. The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus). In addition, our highly competitive benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.
