The Program

The Electrophysiology Clinical Specialty Internship Program is aimed at university students interested in the field of cardiac electrophysiology, medical technology, and health innovation, who wish to complement their academic training through a structured learning experience in a leading MedTech company.

During the program, interns will participate in an educational and observational experience designed to provide exposure to the Electrophysiology (EP) business environment, Johnson & Johnson's culture and values, and the fundamental concepts of cardiac anatomy, arrhythmias, and technologies used in electrophysiology procedures.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend technical trainings, educational sessions, team meetings, and professional development activities, as well as accompany and observe, under permanent supervision, clinical procedures and field activities performed by specialized professionals.

Throughout the internship, students will develop knowledge about the role of a Clinical Account Specialist (CAS), the functioning and clinical applications of the CARTO™ system, the healthcare ecosystem, and the commercial and operational processes that support Johnson & Johnson MedTech's Electrophysiology solutions.

This experience has an exclusively educational and professional development focus, allowing students to strengthen technical and professional competencies, broaden their understanding of the medical technology industry, and explore career opportunities within the health sector, always under the guidance and supervision of qualified professionals.

Requirements

• Be a university student in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related fields.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week.
• Availability to start the internship in January/February 2027.
• Interest in medical technologies, health innovation, and clinical environments.
• English is not a mandatory requirement for this position.

• Monthly economic stipend: S/ 1,200.
• Hybrid work model. Eligibility for the hybrid scheme (3 days on-site and 2 days remote) will be subject to the nature of the area's responsibilities and alignment with the leader at the time of entry.
