Systems Support Apprentice at IBM

IBM Infrastructure & Technology designs and operates the systems that keep the world running, from high-resiliency mainframes and hybrid cloud platforms to networking, automation and site reliability. Teams focus on the performance, security and scalability that clients and industries rely on every day.

As a Systems Support Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers and mentors to support client systems. You will apply your hardware knowledge while using the latest tools and technologies.

About the Apprenticeship

The IBM Apprenticeship Program is an official registered apprenticeship recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL). Graduates of a Registered Apprenticeship program receive a nationally recognized credential from the DOL.

You will complete specific learning hours and on-the-job training to build the skills and competencies the role requires. You can learn at your own pace, though most apprentices finish within 12 months. After graduating and receiving your certificate, you can apply to available full-time roles at IBM.

You will start with a local cohort of apprentices, learning about IBM and your apprenticeship skills. After that, you will work with managers and mentors on a personal skills roadmap, building knowledge through hands-on work with project teams.

Who You Are

This is a learning role, and IBM is open to candidates who are just starting their careers. Prior experience with data analysis or teamwork is a plus.
