Retail Store Design Intern (Florida)

The portfolio includes Disney, Pixar, Marvel, 20th Century Studios, National Geographic, and Star Wars.

The Retail Store Design Intern will support fixture design, development, and implementation at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The team designs and develops retail stores within the parks in North America and is highly motivated and creative. This role supports Store Design and fixture development so that Disney's standards for quality and excellence are met. The internship also shows how the store design process works and how it connects with the wider Store Design and Visual team.

This is a full-time, six-month internship in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 to June 2027.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate with internal and external business partners to confirm and verify fixture requirements and requests
• Create fixture presentation drawings for review, approval, and implementation
• Lead and manage the fixture shop drawing submittal and review process, including design intent, constructability, and more
• Develop a strong understanding of retail standards and principles

Please Apply If You Have or Are

• Proficiency and experience in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D rendering software, SketchUp, and/or Rhino
• Ability to read architectural plans and shop drawings and present conceptual designs
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative approach and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
• Ability to analyze detailed information and act on it appropriately
• Digital literacy in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

It Would Also Be Great If You Are

• Familiar with financial planning software or retail analytics tools
