Test Engineer 1

Our Test Engineering team handles testing, evaluation and validation of all Dell devices. We are a group of expert engineers who develop test cases and test tools to confirm that our products work and are compatible. We take part in the full testing process, from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you will achieve

As a Test Engineer, you will develop and document test plans for new and current hardware and solutions products. You will work with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership. You will also work with external validation partners to build comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations.

You will:

• Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed
• Help collect test requirements and create basic test plans and test cases
• Follow risk management plans and run test automation scripts
• Document test execution progress and issues
• Mentor test technicians and share best practices with them
