Health Hiring Summer 2027 Commercial Strategy Intern

Position Summary

The Commercial Strategy & Operations Internship is an 11-week full-time program running from May 24, 2027 through August 4, 2027.

This is a hybrid role with three days per week (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the Hartford, CT office. The other two days each week can be worked remotely from home, the office, or another location of your choice. Relocation assistance may be provided to qualifying candidates.

Corporate interns take part in projects that contribute to business success, community service, professional development workshops, mentorship and networking, and interaction with senior leaders.

The hourly rate is $26/hr for 40 hours per week. The company holiday on July 4th is unpaid time off, and interns receive two days of paid leave. Corporate interns also have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future role with CVS Health.

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role, including Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 visa programs.

About the Business Area

The Large Group Center of Excellence (COE) supports enterprise sales and retention strategies for CVS Health's large employer group business nationwide. The team works with leaders across the organization to drive strategic initiatives, improve business performance, and support growth that strengthens relationships with customers and clients.

Through collaboration, planning, and operational support, the Large Group COE helps align business priorities, improve organizational effectiveness, and deliver solutions that support the commercial business. The team connects strategy with execution while supporting key stakeholders across multiple functions.

Qualifications

Required: Meet the educational requirements listed below.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated leadership experience, such as active roles in student or social organizations, sports, or school or work-related projects
• Internship, work, or project experience in a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in a full-time position with CVS Health upon graduation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business functions
• Demonstrated project management and time management skills
