Meet the Team

Our team is building the future of Cisco's AI-driven platforms and data infrastructure, supporting innovation worldwide. You will join teams developing advanced data pipelines, machine learning infrastructure, and analytics platforms within business groups such as S&TO, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

In this collaborative setting, you will help grow emerging technologies in data and intelligent systems. You will work at the intersection of data engineering and AI, helping Cisco and its customers get more value from information and intelligent automation.

Your Impact

You are a passionate software engineer with experience building scalable data pipelines, designing robust analytics platforms, and creating infrastructure for machine learning initiatives. Your background in programming, data systems, and collaboration lets you solve complex problems with care and creativity.

You will build and maintain key software tools and platforms that let Cisco's business groups use AI and data-driven insights for operational excellence and growth. Your work will help keep data infrastructure reliable, high-quality, and scalable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts, including scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, and data consistency, plus familiarity with patterns such as load balancing, consensus algorithms, and inter-service communication.
