About this role

Carrier is looking for a motivated, results-oriented college student to join the team for the summer of 2027. The internship offers practical, challenging and meaningful on-the-job experience, along with the chance to apply knowledge and show strengths in support of Carrier's business strategy.

As an Advanced Materials Engineering intern, you will gain experience through tasks such as the following, though the list is not limited to these activities.

• Organizing test documents and preparing summarized reports for engineers or internal customers.
• Carrying out additional sample preparation, metallography and microscopy of tested samples as needed.
• Coordinating documentation, return to customer and/or storage of tested samples.
• Helping with continuous improvement efforts to increase test reliability and acceleration.
• Maintaining a safe working environment by following all procedures and PPE requirements.

• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player who collaborates well with others on projects

Other Compensation

This position may be eligible for short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
