Software Engineering Intern in Sarasota, FL

The internship begins in May and runs for 12 weeks. Interns work fully on-site at our Sarasota, FL location.

This role suits someone who wants to work on a large, long-term program that tackles real-world challenges. Our projects are built by small, innovative teams, which gives you and your teammates plenty of room to contribute and share solutions and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Help create mission-critical software applications, working closely with users on design and development so the product helps them carry out their mission efficiently and effectively.
• Take advantage of strong learning opportunities, stay self-directed and motivated, and collaborate respectfully with teammates while keeping the user's mission first.
• Be part of a responsive team where communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Work alongside motivated teammates who will support and challenge you, and who expect the same from you.

• Write clean, testable code that meets design and interface definitions.
• Support testing, integration, and deployment of the software baseline.
