Position Summary

This 10-week internship at Bristol Myers Squibb's Biologics campus in Devens, MA gives participants BioPharma experience, leadership exposure and career mentorship. The program includes formal and informal networking, development and mentorship focused on building professional skills in the BioPharma industry.

Candidates are matched with projects based on their skills and interests, supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Biologics Development organization at the Devens Campus. Projects fall under functional areas including, but not limited to:

Site Focused Positions

• Portfolio Integration & Developmental Excellence Transformation (PIDT) - Data Science
• Lab Based Positions
• Biologics Development Laboratories - Cell Culture, Purification, and Analytical

Each project has defined key deliverables and offers the chance to build new skills and work directly on key parts of the business. Example deliverables include process optimization, development of templates and best practices, strategy development, deployment of new laboratory capabilities, and proof of concept work in laboratories.

This full-time ten-week program runs June through August 2027.

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently enrolled in a Life Science, Engineering, or Data & Computer Science Bachelor of Science, Master's, or Doctorate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Interest and passion for BioPharma and biotechnology
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and ability to work in a team
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated through experiences such as laboratory work, project design courses, research projects, knowledge of programming or scientific software, and/or previous co-ops or internships
• Candidates interested in the process development lab space, manufacturing environment, or manufacturing support roles
• All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of employment. Visa sponsorship, including for student or temporary work authorization programs, is not available for this role.

Compensation Overview

Pay for this internship is $24.00 to $45.00 per hour, provided in line with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or another locally compliant structure, based on factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills and work location.

Interns may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location and local requirements. This is a temporary, time-bound position and does not guarantee employment after the program ends.
