Summer Intern QC Microbiology

Position Summary

The QC Microbiology Summer Intern will support the Microbiology team with environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical microbiology. You will work alongside experienced microbiologists on projects that support product quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

The full-time internship runs June through August 2027.

Key Responsibilities

The intern may support the following activities:

• Trending and visualizing viable environmental and personnel monitoring data.
• Assisting with laboratory investigations and data gathering related to microbial recoveries or environmental monitoring excursions.
• Helping with microbiology laboratory organization and continuous improvement efforts.
• Taking part in cross-functional activities within RayzeBio.
• Supporting routine laboratory tasks such as inventory management, pipette verification, rad surveys, equipment cleaning and sanitization, pass-throughs, equipment log checks, supply organization, and general laboratory readiness.
