Bristol Myers Squibb's Nonclinical Discovery & Development Sciences (NDDS) organization is recruiting undergraduate students for a 10-week, full-time internship in summer 2027. Each intern works on a hypothesis-driven project in a discovery or development function. Possible areas include target and candidate toxicity, AI and bioinformatics applications, pharmacokinetics, bioanalytical method development, formulation and drug delivery, and laboratory animal welfare.
Depending on the project, interns carry out laboratory work, literature and data review, programming, and computational analyses with support from their manager. Interns also build skills in critical thinking, risk/benefit assessment, and scientific writing. They take part in mentoring and cross-functional networking and present their findings at the end of the program.
BMS hires for skills and capabilities, not just credentials. If this role interests you but does not perfectly match your resume, you are encouraged to apply anyway.
Pay for this internship is set according to local market practices and applicable laws. Interns may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements. This is a temporary, time-bound position for the duration of the internship and does not guarantee continued employment after the program ends.
